"Ian has the natural ability of making you understand something that you haven't completely understood the meaning of. Ian has the patience to support and guide you through the learning process which made learning while out and about easy. The practical nature of the course was extremely beneficial as I think I learn more in this way. The instant feedback whilst taking pictures to amend to get the result you were after was very good and made learning more focused as you could achieve the shots you wanted. The small group made one to one tuition readily available and invaluable as learning methods and speeds vary so will suit all needs for prospective clients. I would thoroughly recommend the workshops to anyone who wants to get more out of their camera and the photographs they can produce, and the confidence that it can be achieved. The local knowledge was good and was utilised exceptionally well when the weather did not do as predicted by forecasts. I will be looking into attending future workshops in different locations to develop my skills and confidence further. Ian's handout is remarkably detailed for a short course and is a good manual to refer to."
